This course is designed to train drivers who are involved in the transportation and handling of hazardous materials. At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Explain the 9 classes of hazardous substances and their identification
• Explain the purpose and legislation requirements on the transport of hazardous materials
• Explain the roles and responsibilities of drivers in an emergency
• Explain the basic principles on the chemistry of fire and be able to operate a fire extinguisher effectively.

This course is meant for Drivers involved in the transportation and handling of hazardous materials.

• Hazard classes and their identification
• Legislation and code of practice
• Emergency procedures
• Properties of fire and proper usage of fire extinguishers
• 5-Point Safety Checks on LPG Systems in Households

Duration : 1 day course

Timing : 9am to 6pm (lunch will be provided)

*Note : Closing date for each application: one (1) week before the course date.

A test will be held at the end of the course.
