Introduction

We are the Approved Training Provider to conduct the Institute of Technical education, Singapore’s Skills Certificate in Logistics Operations. On successful completion of the theory and practical examinations students are awarded the ITE Skills Certificate in Logistics operations (CLO).

Objectives

The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Skills Certificate in Logistics Operations provides recognition of the professional knowledge and skills of shop floor operators, supervisors and foremen working in a logistics environment.

The ISC in Logistics Operations has been modelled on a competency model, which specifies precisely what logistics personnel should be able to do and how well it should be done. The Course will comprise of two components i.e. Theory component and Practical component. The theory component will be classroom based while the practical component will comprise of on-the-job training at a warehouse facility recognised by BCS International College. Each component comprises of three subjects as follows:

• Logistics Operations
• Warehouse Operations
• Inventory Control

Entry Requirements

• Completion of Secondary 2 or
• Any equivalent qualification approved by ITE; AND
• Participants by be at least 18 years old.

• 2.5 hours Per Session, Every Saturday from 10.00 am – 12.30 pm & 1.30 pm – 4.00 pm

Graduation Requirements

Candidates must fulfill at least 75% course attendance requirements by AEB to sit for examinations. To obtain the Nitec in Service Skills (Office) certification, student need to complete all 8 modules, and accumulate at least 41 credits within 6 years duration based on 1st sitting of examinations.

Mode of Examination

Examinations will be conducted externally by ITE Examinations board. Examinations include both a theory and a practical test, and is conducted every March/September.
