This module is designed to give a detail knowledge and understanding of the principles, nature and development of legal environment of information technology. Among the topics to be addressed are intellectual property of computer software and database, legal challenges in protecting virtual property and multimedia entertainment contents, legal aspects of information security and data privacy, negotiation and design of information technology service contracts, and legal and regulation on cloud computing.
