Under the ISO 9001:2008 requirements, it is mandatory that the Internal Quality Auditors of the Company need to be trained before they can conduct the Internal Audits for the Company. Since the Internal Quality Auditors shall not audit their own work, as stipulated in ISO 9001:2008 Clause 8.2.2, the Company must have at least two qualified Internal Auditors.

The objective of this training course is to enable participants to understand, develop and implement an in-house quality audit programme, which fulfils the requirements for Internal Auditor Training (as spelt-out in Clause 6.2.2 and 8.2.2 of ISO 9001:2008). This course meets the training requirements for individual seeking qualification as an Internal Auditor under the requirements.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for company personnel who are responsible for conducting Internal Audit of their company’s quality management system, either individually or as a member of the company’s audit team.  Managers and other personnel who are responsible for establishing the Internal Quality Audit function will also benefit from this course. 

Manpower turnover and new intakes to the company should be encouraged to attend as to delegate the roles of the auditors such that it is a total involvement of the company and not just the management level involvement.
