During the establishment of an Environmental Management Systems (EMS) or any environmental program, the organisation needs to determine how its activities and functions may impact on the community and the ecosystem.
By identifying and evaluating such harmful and pollutive activities, the organisation is able to develop applicable mitigation measures.
This course outlines the principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment and management of environmental aspects and the significance of these in environmental management systems.
