HANDLE PHARMACEUTICAL MEASURING
EQUIPMENT
This module aims to provide the trainees,
pharmacy support workers, with the skills and
knowledge to understand the usage of the
various measuring equipment in the effective
preparation of drugs.
At the end of module, trainees should be able to
prepare equipment and materials for
measurement activities, prepare work area to
provide a clean and neat environment that
meets organisational guidelines, understand and
apply the organisational policies for hygiene and
handwashing, report any abnormalities to
supervisor in accordance with organisational
procedures, understand the types of products,
measuring equipment and the types of
measurement, be aware of the calibration and
measurement errors and understand the use of
equipment and materials required for
reinstatement of work area.
