Programme Outline

The Certificate in Practical Counselling (Basic) aims to equip trainees with practical approach in counselling individuals. The programme will be conducted in an interactive learning format and self-growth will be achieved during the course to enhance trainees’ personal qualities as a people helper.

Upon successful completion of this programme, trainees will be eligible to register for the different modules to attain their Certificate in Practical Counselling (Advanced).

1st Stage  Developing Self Awareness  

2nd StageCounselling Skills  

3rd Stage Counselling Model  

4th Stage        Role Plays and Skills Practice

Entry Requirements  

a)Min 3 ‘O’ level credits

 (Exception can be allowed, however, participant must be able to read and speak English reasonably in order to benefit from the course) 

b)Min 17 years old and above
