The coordinating of interior decoration projects is a professional role that requires specific skills. An interior finishing coordinator needs to have knowledge of various interior finishes, fixtures and fittings, M&E services, construction methods and related building regulations. The ability to comprehend architectural, structural and M&E drawings and appreciate the design intent of the interior designer is just as important. Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with other members of the project team to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of the project are added value to the employer.
