MC5: Certificate in Aquatic Systems, Practices and Management
This certificate covers the regulations governing the establishment of fish farms, fish operations and import/export of aquaculture products as well as sustainable aquaculture and quality systems for farm management. Students will also be able to apply techniques for water quality management. Students from the ornamental fish industry will learn about the aquaria and relevant aquatic systems and those in the foodfish industry will learn about pond culture, cage farming and other relevant aquatic system. Post-harvest, packing and transportation will also be covered for both ornamental fish and foodfish industries.
