Overview
Mechatronics engineers design, build and operate intelligent products and systems of today and for tomorrow. These engineers will be increasingly in demand as more industries seek to apply evolutionary advances in electronics, sensor and actuators to improve products processes and services.
The overall aim of this course is to ensure graduates have a comprehensive engineering education combined with specialist knowledge of electro-mechanical systems recognised in the professional engineering community by an accredited degree. This ensures that graduates are equipped with the appropriate knowledge and enterprising spirit to practise professionally and ethically.
Key Course Information
Course Length 8-12 Months
Modules 4 Modules + 1 Project
Study Mode Full-Time & Part-Time
Start Date March, June/ July, Oct

WHAT WILL I LEARN
Upon programme completion, students in BEng in Mechatronics will be able to Design and synthesise mechatronic products, systems, and processes, and demonstrate an innovative approach to design realisation. Evaluate a range of solutions to engineering problems, drawn from a broad-based knowledge of engineering and technology disciplines.
You will gain the knowledge to select and apply appropriate mathematical methods to solve problems in the analysis and synthesis of engineering systems.
You will learned the software packages for design, analysis, and synthesis applications and critically evaluate the results.
Last but not least, you will be taugh to contribute to teamwork effectively and ethically, addressing the prominent engineering, social, environmental, and commercial issues.
WHAT WILL I STUDY
Accreditions
