Learning Outcome

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to perform:

• One level haircut with various lengths
• Graduated haircut with various weight distribution
• Layered haircut with various outlines

This module introduces students to hair cutting using a variety of one level techniques, graduation and layered techniques.

In practical, student will prepare the client to meet the gowning requirements.

During the customer consultation process, students will learn to identify clients’ need and also learn to select the most suitable cutting techniques to achieve the desired effect and to ensure work methods meet health and safety requirements.

During cutting process, student will adjust their cutting techniques to take into account of critical influencing factors and consult with the client again to confirm the desired look.

Entry Requirement

Certificate in shampoo & blow or 6 months experience as salon assistant (to produce resume as proof)

Graduation Requirement

Students are required to complete all tasks in order to graduate and obtain their relevant certificates.

Course Awards

Upon meeting all Graduation Requirements, you will graduate with a Certificate in Basic Hair Cutting Module by Kimage Hairdressing School.
