The module aims to provide participants with an overview of various solid-state welding techniques including
FSW, DB, resistance spot welding as well as ultrasonic welding. Participants learn about the fundamentals of
various processes, joint design, defects control, weldability of various materials, and their applications. On the
successful completion of this module, participants will be able to upgrade their individual expertise in welding,
helping their company seize new business opportunities and increase competitiveness.
