ACTA – CU1 Interpret the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Framework

Course Description

Competency unit 1 is one of the required competency units in order to obtain an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA). This course specifies the competencies required of an individual to interpret the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Framework and a set of National Competency Standard as well as applying them in the learning and development context.

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for those who are moving into the training arena with little or zero knowledge in this field. It is also suitable for full or part-time in-house trainers, training consultants, assessment developers and assessors.

Training Methodology:

Lecture, discussion and presentation by participants.

Mode of Assessment / Examination

Participants are required to attend a final assessment comprising of a 1.5 hours Written Assessment and a 30-minutes Practical Performance Assessment.

The final assessment is held about 1 week after the course.
