Delivery Method
Each academic term is a 3-month period covering 2-3 modules of study. Students will attend lectures session in this
course. This course consists of 11 units and may be completed in 24 months. Each unit is supported with 30 contact
hours over each academic term conducted on weekday evenings and/or weekends to suit the busy schedules of
students enrolled in this course.
Assessment Methods
Most courses will be formally assessed by examination, essays and/or case studies.
Graduation and Degree
Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the prestigious Bachelor of Social Science (Major
in Children and Family Studies) Degree of Edith Cowan University. The degree will be the same as that granted to
on-campus students of the University.
