Course Description

This course is meant for shippers, cargo agents, captains of ships, coast guards and all interested parties.

  • Marking and labelling of packages

  • Packing Cargo Transport Units
  • Emergency procedures and Medical first aid guide

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to prepare, offer and accept shipments of dangerous goods for transportation by sea. The course will be based on the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code requirements for non bulk packages in freight containers, and bulk shipments.

Duration : 2 days course

Timing : 9am to 6pm (lunch will be provided)

*Note : There is a test on the last day of the course.
