The Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying aim is to develop the knowledge and skills to learn on building measurement and cost estimation for tender the projects. All types of construction projects such as new structure or refurbishments require accurate financial planning and management that contributes to project success within the constraints. The quantity surveying profession deals with the cost analyse and guide the clients on the construction process. The Quantity surveying professional belongs to the design team to perform the cost estimation and cash flow at the outset of the project.The aim of this programme is to equip students with all financial aspects related to construction process, materials and technology. The student will learn on the tendering process, cost planning, evaluation and control, procurement & contract administration and measurement. The programme introduces the essential concepts involved such as planning, design, and construction of environment and infrastructure.Upon completion of this programme student will able to advice the client on the cost planning, evaluation, control and cash flow required for the project. Quantity surveyors work closely with clients, Project managers, Clerk of Work, Architects, engineers and contracts from Designing phase till completion phase to add value to the process.

Mode of Assessment

The assessment depends on the nature of the modules. Please refer to the course structure above.

Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.

Entry Qualification

• Minimum 3 ‘O’ level or equivalent qualification
• Candidate with Certificate in Engineering Foundation or Diploma in civil Engineering  from Greensafe Academy (will be eligible for exemption of minimum 2 to Maximum 6 modules)
• Matured student with more than 3 years relevant working experience will be considered
• Other qualification with experience will be considered case to case basis

The Teacher-to-student ratio is 1: 75 (lecture)

Graduation Requirement

Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying will be awarded by Greensafe Academy upon successful completion of all 9 modules and graduates may use the title AdvDipQS after their names.

The Advanced Diploma in Quantity Surveying will be awarded by Greensafe Academy Pte Ltd.
